Practice starting up general conversations with people, wherever you
go. Talk to cab drivers, lift attendants, porters and shop assistants -

their lives and challenges in particular. Many people will ask you what
you do; this is the chance to offer your business card which most
people will take and keep. Ask for a business card at the end of your
conversation, if one hasn't been offered, and you have a lead and their
contact details.
New leads should be contacted within a couple of days, while you are
still in their memory. Introduce yourself and remind them where you
first met. Using some of the information they offered during your
conversation, lead into asking about their life insurances. Continue
the rapport you built up during your initial conversation.
Practice making conversation with strangers and getting new leads; soon
it will come very easily and naturally. Remember to think of potential
customers instead of focusing only on sales and soon your life insurance sales leads will be increasing your sales.
